Hon. Minister Selibe Mochoboroane presents 50 NSDP II Braille Documents to LNFOD

The Minister of Development Planning, Honourable Selibe Mochoboroane presented about 50 National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP II) Braille Documents to Lesotho National Federation of Organisations of the Disabled (LNFOD).

Handing  over  the  document, Honourable Mochoboroane noted that NSDP II is a National document hence imperative to be translated into Braille to enable visually impaired persons to have access and understand the information of the document.

Honourable Minister indicated that LNFOD usually contribute to the development of National plans, but after the document has been published, LNFOD does not have access to translated documents to appreciate and acknowledge what the document is all about and also that their contributions are well presented.

He said the translated document will help visually impaired persons to have access and understand the document and  be able to hold Government accountable in matters relating to the document.

Receiving the document on behalf of LNFOD Mr Jeremane Teele, from the Lesotho National League of the Visually Impaired Persons (LNLVIP), expressed his gratitude and indicated that the document will help them to participate effectively on National issues.
